These Strawberries were a request from one of the men at work. Honestly, it’s scary how much interest they have in them.
I’ve seen quite a few posts around of strawberries and agreed that it would be cool to try it for myself. It took a lot of patience, but it really paid off in the end.
I started by painting my nails with one coat of Barry M Blood Orange for the red strawberry colour. I then used Models Own Scarlet Sparkle for one coat to make the strawberries more glitzy (I think I’d probably pay more for glitzy strawberries in supermarkets). Next I used a teeny tiny paintbrush and Essie’s Navigate Her (what is that name all about?) to paint the background of the leaves. Barry M Spring Green was used next to fill in the leaves, and finally I used Barry M Foil Effects Gold to paint on the little seeds.
I actually kept this design on for four days which has got to be nearing a record for me, but they were so cute I couldn’t bring myself to take them off!
For this manicure I used:
- OPI – Nail Envy
- Barry M – Blood Orange
- Models Own – Scarlet Sparkle
- Essie – Navigate Her
- Barry M – Spring Green
- Barry M – Foil Effects Gold
- Seche Vite – Quick Dry Topcoat
