Review: Mavala Sublime Collection Poetic Rose

Now, onto today’s review post! This beauty is the delightful Poetic Rose fom the Sublime Collection by Mavala.

Mavala sent me this collection to review a couple of weeks ago and I really have been so impressed with them. I’ve still got two to review, but you can click these links to see my other reviews: Espresso, Amethyst and Ivory Beige.

Mavala Sublime Collection Poetic Rose

Poetic Rose is a lovely deep pink colour, verging on a red. In darker lights, the deeper rouge tones really shine through, but in the sunlight you get an almost powdered dusty pink rose mixed in with that too. It really is quite an unusual colour! These photos show two coats.

I think I’m going to try and use this polish to make a nice rose nail art design as I really haven’t done one for ages and this is such a beautiful shade.

Mavala polishes are “7 free from parabens, formaldehydes, toluene, camphor, cellophane, animal ingredients and heavy metal”, which is perfect for someone like me who uses nail polish and acetone so much that the effects can be concerning.

Poetic Rose and all of the other polishes in the Sublime Nail Polish Collection are due to be released into stores such as John Lewis or Boots around Mid-November time, which is now so keep your eyes peeled for these wonderful subtle shades selling for only £4.50 each.
