Random Striping Manicure
I have a bit of a mash up mani for you today! I was thinking about my Dipped in Deco mani and my Dragon Scales mani, and I was curious what it would look like if I kind of stylistically blended them together!
Apply coral holographic base color
I started off with two coats of China Glaze Not in this Galaxy, a deep coral holographic. I followed with one coat of SV.
Work with your striping tape to get this look!
I applied my striping tape randomly and used a wedge sponge over it to create a gradient with China Glaze Sci-Fly By, Take a Trek, and Strap on your Moonboots.
Add some gradient colors
Since I was sponging over a bolder color, I sponged on the gradient colors twice in a row before removing my striping tape for an opaque top finish. I finished with two coats of SV for a smooth and high gloss shine.
I really love the way this turned out. The gradient colors work so well together and seem to flash bits of purple nail polish in certain lighting, thanks to the coral below.
