Nail Stamp – Candies and Sorbet

China Glaze “Liquid Leather” as base, Sally Hansen “Lacey Lilac” (on index, pinky) and “Mint Sorbet” (on middle and ring) to stamp the Kawaii-Candy Portion of the MLS301 plate, and Nicole OPI “Love Your Life” on ring finger. While I love getting crazy and attempting innovation with stamps, sometimes you just gatta keep it as intended.

BUT see all those melted candies on my ring finger? This post also serves as a cautionary tale about the care needed when using a topcoat over a stamped image. Normally, I am super careful in not using any pressure to avoid streaking and morphing the stamp, however I totally lost my mind since I was using another polish rather than a topcoat. It’s totally the same concept, but my brain must not have processed that. I swiped away time after time without a care in the world…only to notice when taking these pictures.
