Lily Marble Nails
I had some free time today, which was awesome because I’ve been itching to water marble lately!!
I started off with two coats of a white creme, which is always my preference when water marbling. I then marbled with China Glaze Tart-y for the Party, a soft purple creme, China Glaze Fade into Hue, a soft periwinkle creme, and Zoya Renee, a bright pink creme, for a pop color.
Lily petals
When I looked closely at the pattern, I saw how much it reminded me of the lily petals on one of my tattoos …
I used my small and medium dotting tools with Zoya Julieanne for the center pistil. I then used my striping brush with Zoya nail polish Pinta for the filaments, and again used my medium dotting tool with Zoya Zuza for the anthers.
Another side by side, just for fun!
I then topped it with one coat of Out the Door Hologram, and finished with one coat of SV … because my name is Nicole, and I clearly have a top coat obsession.
I had a lot of fun creating this one, and it makes me happy to have my nails mimic one of my tattoos.
