Inspired by Artwork Nail Design
I am so chuffed with this manicure. Sunflowers are my favorite flower EVER and when I thought of artwork, the first thing that came into my head was the series of sunflower painting by Van Gogh using nail design plates for manicure, and I knew that was what I had to paint on my nails.
I started by painting a base of Barry M Mint Green and then used a sponge to create a mottled grass effect with Barry M Spring Green. Next I use a tiny paintbrush and mixed together red and yellow acrylic paint to create the centres of the sunflowers and then painted on the petals in yellow. Finally, I used the previous orange concoction to draw some shading onto the petals. I love how they turned out.
For this manicure I used:
- Revlon – Quick Dry Base Coat
- Barry M – Mint Green
- Barry M – Spring Gren
- Acrylic paint
- Revlon – Quick Dry Top Coat
