Hard Candy Just Nails Nail Polish in Fabuluxe Swatches

Step aside, Dorothy.

Fabuluxe

Hello, you lacquerheads. You all are looking fabulous today. But not as fabulous as fabuluxe. Hey you don’t come here for me to lie to you, do you?

While the name made me cringe a bit with associations of Tyra Banks-esque vernacular, I quickly got over it and so now I bring to you- SWATCHES!

Fabuluxe by Hard Candy is a super packed glitter polish with punch. Ridiculously vibrant fuchsia glitter in a magenta jelly base. Think high voltage Dorothy shoes.

Hm.. that still doesn’t get the point across, does it?

There, fixed it for you.

Oh yes, this polish is that FABuLUXE.

All pictures feature one thin coat “Fabuluxe” followed by one thick coat “Fabuluxe” Then Finished With One Coat Seche Vite topcoat

So, yes, we can all see you’re gorgeous. But how’s your quality?

Well I can say there are a number of minor cons with this lacquer. You need a chainsaw to remove it. There will be one point, about halfway through, where you will find yourself making a donation to advance casual finger transplant surgery. This is literally the most difficult to remove polish I own, and that’s including when using the foil method with pure acetone. It dries very gritty and rough, resulting in the need for two thick coats of Seche Vite to have any resemblance of smoothness. Hard Candy Just Nails Nail Color are also .35oz compared to the average nail polish bottle which contains .50oz.

Those cons aside, the wearable was average for me, it did not stain, is only $4.00 (exclusive of Walmart) and is too gorgeous and (what I consider) unique not to own.

While this post and polish may be dachshund-approved, she refused to have her face shown with a bottle on her head. This picture is not photoshopped in any way. As long as her face was away from the camera, she was perfectly content balancing lacquer on her head.

How do you feel about “Fabuluxe”?
