I’ve done a few fruit themed manicures before – Cherries and Strawberries – so I had to think a bit harder this time to come up with another fruity idea.
So what do you think of my watermelons?!
I started by painting two coats of No7 Cheeky Chops which is a wonderful bright coraly-pink. Just what I needed to cure the misery of this horrid weather in England right now! I then used Invogue Matte Suede Emerald Dust to paint the tips of my nails a shimmery green colour. After that had dried, I used Sinful Colors Exotic Green to create the stripes over the Invogue polish. Finally I used Nails Inc Black Taxi and a tiny paintbrush to paint on the tiny seeds.
We ate so much watermelon on our honeymoon last month, and it’s so nice to have a little reminder of that on my nails today!
