The very first thing you want to do is pick a foundation color. Most people choose an intense white, but the artist decided to go with a pearly white. Right after painting your nails having a white base color, paint your nail tips blue. Royal blue will work very good, but the artist used a pearly blue to go with the iridescent white shades.

Now we are prepared to turn this nail artwork upside down and add two different patterns, stripes as well as dots. The dots will undoubtedly represent the stars on the United States flag nails. Using the base color you chose in the beginning (a shade of white) draw a few white dots onto your blue tips. If you work with regular nail polish, your white dots will be reasonably large. If you desire smaller sized white dots, you can use the nail art brush, with a finer tip. On the other hand, if you work with a sheer white, tiny dots may not show up as obviously.

Once your nails dry, take red toenail polish and draw red-colored stripes from the base of the nail to the blue suggestion part of your nail. You need to be able to draw 3 or 4 red-colored lines for every nail. Once again, allow your nails to dried out. The last step for this look is to secure it with clear nail polish. If you only intend to wear this look for the vacation, there is no need to use clear toenail art polish.
